Plasticity of the image has its limits only in the imagination. When I realized that,
I knew what I wanted to do in my life. I see images all around, so I draw, illustrate and most of all, I am a graphic artist.
First, I graduated with honors from the Faculty of Graphic Arts in Katowice Academy of Fine Arts (Diploma in prof. Marian Oslislo class, 2006). I am also a double scholar of University of Art and Design in Budapest, Hungary (2005) and the Ecole Nationale des Beaux Arts in Lyon (2004).
After my studies I became interested in the communicative function of the image. That is why for many years I’ve been working as an art director in several advertising agencies. My concepts and campaigns were awarded several times, including Effie Award (2009), Golden Eagles (2007, 2008), and first place in Polish edition of “Young Creatives” (2007).
In my works, I try to combine a taste for simple geometric forms with the art of harmonious composition, but I do not avoid exaggerated proportions, especially when I want to emphasize the psychological features of my characters. The most important for me is the truth of the “very moment” – self-observation or social situations that carry a multi-dimensional emotions. I like when my works lead to a dialogue with the audience.
I live in Warsaw, but my life happens everywhere…
